If you are looking to change the name on your passport for immediate use after your wedding, the passport office will either issue a new standard passport which will be valud form the date of the wedding or alternatively will amend her existing passport to show her future married name. Neither of these will be issued more than three months prior to the wedding.

Application forms as usual can be found at the post office, the forms can be filled in by the applicant the Minister or Superindent Registra who attends the wedding. The form should then be sent to the passport office together with the application for a passport or amendment to the passport.

DON'T FORGET
If you are going on a honeymoon, remeber to book air tickets etc. in the name you will have in your passport at the time of travelling.....
